Located in a great position just 2 minutes walk from Altinkum's most famous tourist attraction, the ancient Temple of Apollo, and a short minibus ride from the seafront, beaches and the town centre. The Jupiter Apartments are situated in a quiet residential area close to the resort's main historic attraction, the Temple of Apollo. There are local shops and restaurants nearby and excellent public transport into the centre of town and the main beach, 10 minutes away. Some of the apartments have sea views.

Stroll down to the beach for a swim or to enjoy some exciting water sports. Cool off in the apartment's communal pool or relax with a good book on your private roof terrace, which is the ideal venue for BBQs with friends on warm evening nights. Visit the ancient Temple of Apollo, shop in the colourful weekly market or explore the fascinating historical sites dotted around the resort. Enjoy a day trip to the Greek islands of Samos or Patmos, with ferries departing from the harbour, just 5 minutes walk from your door. Dine under the stars beside the new marina, then enjoy a drink in one of the resort's bars.

Altinkum, which means 'Golden Sand' in Turkish, has a series of sandy beaches, which are gently sloping and ideal for families. The town has over 8,000 foreign property owners, mostly British, and a rapidly growing expatriate community. The seafront is lined with restaurants and bars, and in summer there are water sports and leisure activities on the beach, which is ideal for children. Didyma's famous Temple of Apollo is in the town and ancient Greek Miletus and Priene are close by. A 625-berth marina is due for completion in 2009.

Altinkum is a 60-minute drive from Bodrum airport. There is a new public hospital, with larger private hospitals in Bodrum and Kusadasi. Shopping facilities are good with several large supermarkets and a weekly market for fresh produce.
