Gokdere Apartments are in the small and friendly resort of Ozdere, which is located on an unspoilt stretch of coastline with many coves and beautiful sandy beaches. Only a few foreign tourists have discovered the area, which is one of the hidden jewels of the Turkish coast. The resort is popular with middle-class Turkish holidaymakers, particularly families and retirees, many of who own villas or holiday apartments. Izmir international airport, which has year-round flights from the UK, is only 30 minutes drive from the town and the tourist attractions of Efesus and the Virgin Mary's Chapel are also close by. There regular bus services to Izmir, Kusadasi and Efesus.

Ozdere has a long sandy beach and plenty of shops, small restaurants and tavernas. The people are extremely friendly and welcoming.
